Hello, Comrades!

I’m a writer/editor from the Midwest and founder of the Mad Fingers Writing Collective. I have a B.A. in English Literature from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Mississippi University for Women. Life keeps me busy as a mom of six, wife of a weirdo, and charismatic cult leader of Ganske Kult (think 1990s hipsters in ironic Sámi joik shirts). I write poetry and dark fiction, currently working on a poetry collection and my second novel (the first one was garbage).

Likes: Pteropus Alecto, dogs that aren’t ugly, my guitar Calypso I don’t know how to play, and the very blackest of beers.
Dislikes: Bukowski, Descartes, beige walls, and social media profiles with an ungodly amount of selfies.

My soulmate is my shape-shifting black German Shepherd, Grimm. And yes, I believe in cryptids—don’t judge me.
